This new venture will allow consumers to trial its products, before choosing to buy them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1629\" height=\"939\" src=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_175.png\" class=\"wp-image-2640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_175.png 1629w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_175-650x375.png 650w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_175-850x490.png 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1629px) 100vw, 1629px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the Oculus app, customers can experience and use the Dyson products virtually. In the store you can also watch demonstrations and discover 3D images of tools- including their Supersonic hairdryer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dyson is responding to the prevalence of virtual ways of interacting amongst today\u2019s consumers. Consumer goods brands especially, are trialling new online forms of interaction in anticipation of the growing Metaverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>UNO x Nike collection with Giannis <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family-favourite card game UNO is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To do so, they have collaborated with Nike and NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo to release a bold collection of footwear, a newly branded deck, and apparel line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2190\" height=\"1446\" src=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_176.png\" class=\"wp-image-2641\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_176.png 2190w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_176-650x429.png 650w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_176-850x561.png 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2190px) 100vw, 2190px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two brands have united over their use of, and sense of \u2018play\u2019 that infuses their products. Both have an appeal, regardless of age or gender. The three primary colours alongside green cover the shoes producing four unicoloured and bold trainer designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The products featured in the collaboration also include several other design elements inspired by the UNO cards. They also celebrate Giannis and his family\u2019s appreciation and love for UNO. \u201cI want every product to be genuine and authentic, and playing UNO with my brothers is a big part of our lives,\u201d implored Antetokounmpo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both the footwear and apparel collections will be available on the Nike website in the coming months. UNO\u2019s\u2019 Giannis-branded deck is already shoppable through Mattel Creations and NTWRK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Christmas weeks away, this might just be the perfect Christmas pressie for the fellow game, and merch lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>M&amp;S\u2019 AR wayfinding pilot of their new app at Westfield<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The M&amp;S at Westfield is currently trialling a new augmented reality app in their food hall. The app will seamlessly allow consumers to enter a product into the app and then be guided to its shelf location with on screen directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_177.jpeg\" class=\"wp-image-2642\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_177.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_177-650x340.jpeg 650w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_177-850x445.jpeg 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As seen in the picture, when a smartphone is held up, directions will be displayed on screen with markers referencing the location of the product you are searching for. The technology was created by AR start-up \u2018Dent Reality\u2019 and will also allow shoppers to create and save shopping lists, as well as figure out the optimum route between items in store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the app proves successful in its initial trials, M&amp;S have said the app will be made usable for members of the public in January. To make the consumer experience more accessible, they hope to make this wayfinding technology part of their existing M&amp;S app, not a stand-alone app that consumers must download in addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A celebration of Virgil Abloh<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Wednesday, Virgil\u2019s name was illuminated in the sky in Miami at what was an emotional final show for Louis Vuitton. The creative, multi-hyphenate, Abloh <span data-migration-original-font-size=\"15px\">died last Sunday at the age of 41 following his struggle with a rare form of cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2239\" height=\"1099\" src=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_178.png\" class=\"wp-image-2643\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_178.png 2239w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_178-650x319.png 650w, https:\/\/content.theoneoff.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/TOOHBM_BlogAsset_178-850x417.png 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2239px) 100vw, 2239px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This show was originally meant to be one of many more to come that celebrated his impactful creativity. It was perfectly apt, however, that this last exhibition of his work would be a demonstration of discovery at a time of both despair, and cynicism.
